In Memory of a Girl named Crystal Shuford, and The Enka Lake Murder Case...

Recently, someone who is somewhat of an acquaintance, had told me of one of the most disturbing and heart wrenching (local) murder stories I had ever heard. (And I have heard and seen allot of disturbing things in my life). It was in relation to this poor young girl, whose name (I later found out from an old article online) was: 'Crystal Shuford' and I guess what can be called: The Enka Lake Murder Case - in Buncombe County, North Carolina. I have to say, the story really bothered me, not only because of the horrendous, brutal, and particularly callous nature of the crime, but also the age of this poor young girl. There does seem to be a couple of things so far, that kinda don't seem to add up to me, but I am going to leave it at that. Anyway, I would like to dedicate this post to this girl's memory. Nobody deserves to go through what she went through, and to die like that. It is almost beyond comprehension (for me anyway) that someone could be as sick and sadistic as the (dirtbag) animal who committed this crime. Somewhat oddly and mysteriously (for lack of any better words) especially being that I had been thinking about this poor girl and what she must have suffered, I inadvertently came across this intense album, with a particular song that really spoke to me, and moved me. Once again, (with deep compassion and emotion) I dedicate it to the young girl who went by the name of Crystal Shuford. God rest her soul. and grant her eternal peace and comfort...
