Okay, I didn't expect this, AT ALL! But I just happened to be in the Video section in Walmart looking for something completely different, when I took a chance (for some reason) and purchased this particular flick. (Because, at first appearance, it is really not particularly a guy flick). But boy, was I surprised. It is a very well done movie, that turned out to be probably one of the most positive, moving, and encouraging films I have ever seen, and really makes ya' think; in addition to reconsidering certain things, or at least, makes you look at them in a different way. In other words, I guess, I needed to see this flick. And just maybe, something knew that I kinda' like needed to see this...
So, while I'm on this, I figured this would be an appropriate place to share some very interesting and uplifting music videos, that I also inadvertently came across over time, which (like this movie) particularly left somewhat of an impression on me. I think some Christian music can be so beautiful, positive, and encouraging; especially when you are going through some pretty difficult times. Once again, it really makes ya' think, if nothing else...
Here is a relatively little known cover song (that just seemed to come to mind regarding this post), that The New Era band used to perform live at one time, back on Long Island, (when a genre of music called: 'New Wave' was pretty popular), all those years ago. Just thought I would include it here, because of the title: "Heaven Is A Secret." I guess it (still) kinda' is, in a way. (It is definitely a mystery, that's for sure). Either way, it brings back allot of memories...
