Basically, a track to commemorate the end of the holiday season (and the beginning of winter and the New Year) and all the memories that go with it. I had wanted for some time, to write something that captured the spirit, and incorporated the feeling, style, and artistic elements of some of my most favorite musical influences, and some of my favorite artists and songs, particularly in the vein of the dreaminess, emotion, and retrospective journey type of mood in The Long and Winding Road, by The Beatles, and some musical (and artistic) elements of Genesis, The Moody Blues, and Coldplay. I think, I may have at least come close to conveying something of that effect (and crossover fusing) with this track. If I must say so myself, I particularly like the line: “Miles to go, but my mind stays.
