This song was inspired by a time in my life, some years ago, when I was living at a Boarding House in Amityville, Long Island, and the memories associated with it...I dedicate this song to my good friend, John Sullivan; (Who had lived upstairs from me, at the house). A musician, singer, and songwriter, who I was instrumental in bringing into the first real professional band that we both played together in as kids; (Way before either of us lived there). A band that became famous at all the High School dances, back in Lindenhurst, Long Island; and someone who passed away before his time. God rest his soul. He was a close friend, that I will never forget...
