There is no pain (or sadness) quite as profound as a broken heart. But when you take a vaccine (for instance) that healing vaccine often contains the very thing that caused the sickness in the first place; and then becomes the cure for that particular malady! So, was (mostly) the intent behind the composition of this piece. To be somewhat, like a healing balm. Yet, probably one of the saddest (yet expressive) melodies (and musical compositions) ever written; if I must say so myself...
Of course, the dichotomy (and irony) here, is that you have to have a heart for it to be broken in the first place! Whether its from the loss of a close family member, the loss of a loved one, a close friend (for instance) or the emotional pain one may feel for someone you care about, who you know may be going through a very difficult time...
Somewhat reluctant to get too personal here, but I would like to dedicate this post and music video to my cousin JoAnn therefore; who had lost her mother, father, and husband, all within a period of just several years! (As her mother, my aunt anna, was suffering from cancer, and her father, my uncle pat, was suffering from alzheimer's, before they themselves passed. Extremely sad in itself, and broke my own heart, when I heard about it). I feel your pain...
A few years ago already, but my prayers (along with this music video) still go out to you. God bless (and comfort) you. I will never forget all the memories...
