Received a surprise notification from Google recently, that their social network site: Google Plus is going the way of the Dodo bird on April 2nd, 2019! I have allot of great content there, and would like to find a new home for (at least some of) it, and am therefore looking for possibly other options for re-posting this content to another site. (At least some of the best stuff, I guess). Really hate to lose it, especially with some of my own opinions and comments in relation to some of these posts. (As Google+ can also be used as something like a blog as well). May re-post at least some of this content to possibly my Blogger site. (Which is also currently owned by Google). Also recently opened my own account on Reddit - in looking for other possible options for instance, other then possibly relocating some stuff to my own website here as well, being that the Google+ posts are dated and all - going back at least a few years now, but really do not want to use allot of space here either for this; which I would like to free-up for mostly my own material, and music. Kinda' sad. Almost like losing an old friend in a way, but what are ya' gonna' do? Google is kinda' notorious for this kind of thing to begin with, as I have seen this before in different ways with some apps (that were discontinued for instance) and other Google related accounts, which are also pretty cool (and promising) despite some issues. (Same thing with Facebook, in a way, and definitely MySpace). Which is one of the reasons why I have my own website to begin with. Anyway, judging from some of the comments on YouTube for example, there does seem to be allot of worried people, who have accounts at both sites. (As it was actually sorta like required, if you had a YouTube account - to have a Google+ account as well, when it first came out, and you like had to have them linked together! If I remember correctly). What a mess...
